The Segal Centre will present My Name Is Asher Lev by Aaron Posner, directed by Steven Schipper from September 11 to October 2.
Co-produced by the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, the play is based on Chaim Potok’s novel and tells the story of a young Hasidic man with a passion for painting that threatens to tear apart his family and community.
The play won the 2012 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding New Off-Broadway Play.
