Generations Foundation is often invited to join schools and community centers to break bread.

Recently we met over 50 people for a St. Valentine Luncheon at the St. Antoine 50+ Community Centre.

The event was planned by Susan Staples, director Rose Mary Silletta, and support coordinator Maggie Taylor. They were assisted by volunteers Walter Torres, Yves Bernard and George Widz. Chef Richard Sonne prepared a roast beef meal with all the trimmings.

Singer and pianist Douglas Rodriguez treated the guests to a medley of beautiful songs. The Centre, located at 850 Dominion Street, offers seniors home support and activities, on the premises and in Little Burgundy, St. Henri, Pointe St. Charles, Verdun, Côte Saint Paul and LaSalle. It fosters friendships and creates opportunities for sharing life experiences.

Generations Foundation partners with community and senior centres to strengthen a sense of belonging and self-respect., 514-933-8585
