Students help seniors with home maintenance

Seniors 65 and over living in Pointe Claire can get free indoor and outdoor home maintenance services if they meet certain criteria, including a means test.

Single apartment dwellers must have a maximum annual income of $29,900; for couples, the combined income is a maximum $33,250.

The maximum income for single house dwellers also is $29,900.

For couples or two seniors in one house, the combined income must not exceed $35,400.

Students will carry out light housework, general yard maintenance and snow shoveling after school and in the early evening. 514-630-1240.
