Our next issue coming out March 5 will include our famous Housing Supplement. Apart from the charts with listings of the amenities of seniors’ residences, we would like your stories on finding a senior residence for you or your loved one.
Have you recently moved into a senior residence and are glad you did? What do you like about it? What problems did you have finding a residence? Did you use the help of a placement service or did you go it alone? Are you considering the move for you or your loved one but feel worried about the process? Have you started the measures necessary to place your loved one in the public system? How is it going for you? We will not mention names of residences or people unless your experience is positive, but we would like a range of experiences. Remember that you’re not alone out there! Let’s share our experiences. Write to us by email at editor@theseniortimes.com or snail mail at The Senior Times, 4077 Decarie Blvd. Montreal, H4A 3J8 or by fax at 514-484-8254. Be sure to include your phone number and full name printed clearly.
