Bruno Pelletier & Guy St-Onge with the Orchestre Métropolitain, a Montreal premiere

A pair of standard-bearing artists on the Québécois music scene, Bruno Pelletier and Guy St-Onge joined forces in a project released last September: Musique et cinéma, a double album featuring the charismatic singer and brilliant pianist revisiting film theme songs, from Baghdad Cafe to West Side Story, Phil Collins to The Cure. As successful as it is ambitious, the project now comes to us in a symphonic version with Orchestre Métropolitain, conducted by the versatile Guy St-Onge himself for the occasion.

Thursday, February 19, 2015, 8 pm. Salle Wilfrid Pelletier, Place des Arts. Tickets $39-$55.

The 16th edition of Montréal en Lumière runs from February 19 to March 2015. The complete programming, including indoor and outdoor concert and special events may be found at montrealenlumiere.com
