“Menopause The Musical,” the longest running comedy ever to play Las Vegas is bringing its hilarious look at menopause to Montreal’s Centaur Theatre Nov. 21-22 —and due to overwhelming demand, a Saturday afternoon — 2 p.m. — show has been added for Nov. 23.

The heat is on!

Just ask any woman who’s suffered through the trials and tribulations of menopause.

In an attempt to show menopause from a different side, “Menopause The Musical,” the longest running comedy ever to play Las Vegas, is bringing its’ “Laugh Out Loud” tour back to Montreal’s Centaur Theatre with its exclusive Canadian all-star cast.

“I’ve never been involved with anything in my life that brings so much joy to women each and every night,” Mark Zimmerman of Shaggypup Productions, the company that is producing the show across Canada.

“We play everything from 3,000-seat casinos to 400-seat theatres and every night I get women thanking me, telling me they haven’t laughed this hard in years or their face hurts from laughing and smiling so much,” he added.

“We’ve toured every province in Canada, & we’re excited about returning to Montreal after a 5 year hiatus & it looks like Montreal is embracing us again.”

The show centres on four women who meet at a lingerie sale. They have nothing in common except a black lace bra … and, as it turns out, memory loss, hot flashes, night sweats, not enough sex, too much sex and more.

The shows outlines all symptoms of menopause through musical parodies, set to No.1 classic pop hits from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.

The show was voted Entertainer Of The Year Las Vegas 2016.

“I could never do this or feel this way if this was just a play,’’ Zimmerman said. “This show is so powerful in the sheer joy and message it delivers,” he added.
