Lakeshore Players Dorval is proud to present the final show in its 51st season of community theatre. The Curious Savage, by John Patrick, will be presented at the Louise Chalmers Theatre at John Rennie High School from April 28 to May 7, 2016.
Ethel P. Savage has inherited $10 million from her late husband, much to the chagrin of her adult stepchildren. When she decides to create a Memorial Fund with the money to help realize the wildest dreams of other people, the stepchildren have her committed to a sanatorium so that she can come to her senses. It’s not long before Mrs. Savage becomes a part of the family at The Cloisters, and begins to question if the safe world “on the inside” makes more sense.
The cast in alphabetical order is: John Elliott (Dr. Emmett), Evy Kartus-Solomon (Mrs. Paddy), Kosta Kokosopoulos (Titus Savage), Matt Langton (Jeffrey), Julie Le Couteur (Florence), Daniel Lister (Hannibal), Lia Ludbrook (Fairy May), Laura McDougall (Lily Belle Savage), Carolynn Roberts (Miss Willie), Wayne Saray (Samuel Savage), Linda Sheshko (Ethel Savage).
The creative team behind the production is led by Bryan Libero (Director) and includes Chris Upsdell (Stage Manager), Steve Woodward (Set Design), Seamus Ryan (Lighting Design), Jordan Walder (Sound Design), and Karen MacDonald (Costumes).
