As the Member of Parliament NDG-Lachine I join my constituents (seniors and aspiring seniors alike) in celebrating 20 years of informative, entertaining and thoughtful writing. From month to month The Senior Times maintains a delightful presence in our community. It has become a friend who serves to remind us gently each month how fortunate we are to have been given the gift of life, and how it is never too late to enjoy and protect it. Long live The Senior Times!

MNA Salutes Seniors
I am pleased to convey my best wishes for your 20th anniversary. A newspaper is like a living organism. It develops constantly in lively response to the changing social, political and commercial environment. Yet, it cannot survive if it abandons its fundamental beliefs and values.
The anniversary you celebrate today represents the acknowledgment of a long, vibrant and eventful life. It is more than just a celebration of the success of a business venture. It is an occasion to reflect on the essence of the newspaper — the qualities that have enabled it to grow as an institution and serve the community and the seniors for so long.
