Children have been anticipating their return to school since mid-August, with its promises of new social experiences and curriculum challenges in the classroom, guided by a new teacher.
Year after year, educational experiences help kids fulfill their dreams and ensure they will make a positive contribution to society.
Summer camp is important too, as children gain technical knowledge and learn life skills.
“Thanks to Generations Foundation, I have had the privilege of going to camp (my second home) for 18 years.
“Being surrounded by so many talented and inspiring individuals, I was challenged to be the best version of myself, which eventually led to my current position as Trail’s End Camp Director and Assistant Director of Camp Kinkora,” says Jody “Summer” Johnson.
Camp is just one of the ways that Generations Foundation empowers children. With budget cuts at the school boards, we are available to help youngsters and their families with school breakfasts, lunch and snacks, by providing school
supplies, food baskets and toys.
