Federal election 2015 debate comes to Temple in Montreal

Representatives of the three major parties are to debate federal election campaign issues at Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom, Montreal’s Reform synagogue, Wednesday, Sept. 9.

Senior Rabbi Lisa Gruschcow will moderate, starting at 7 pm. Topics include diversity, social and economic policy, and foreign affairs.

The debaters are Liberal Stéphane Dion, seeking re-election in Saint-Laurent—Cartierville; Allison Turner, NDP candidate in Ville-Marie—Le-Sud-Ouest—Île-des-Soeurs; Rodolphe Husny, the Conservative candidate in Outremont.
