Contribute

We are currently soliciting submissions of 300-500 words on material of interest to retirees and prospective retirees in Montreal. Our focus is on the following month’s local events, with articles on medical research and retirement planning that feature interviews and quotes from experts (i.e. multiple sources with credentials). As a monthly paper we aim to be a reference guide for events targeted to senior citizens and to offer “news you can use” in terms of feature stories.
We do publish, but are not soliciting, the following:

  • Reviews, opinion and personal reflections
  • Profiles and one-person interviews
  • Tips and advice
  • Travel retrospectives

In short, blog-style solo pieces or single-perspective articles without external references are not acceptable.
Submissions may be sent to editor@theseniortimes.com as plain inline text (preferred) or in Word format, and may be edited (sometimes drastically) without review.
