The Women’s Chorus of Concord, Mass., in collaboration with Montreal-based women’s choir Modulation will perform Women of the Americas, a benefit concert for Chez Doris highlighting music composed by North American and Latin American women specifically for women’s voices.

The program will include works by two of Canada’s most talented contemporary composers, Eleanor Daley and Ruth Watson Henderson; music by former Sweet Honey in the Rock member and prolific composer Ysaye M.Barnwell, and works from Latin American women composers Modesta Bor and Diana Sáez.

Women of the Americas will show CWC’s dedication to presenting high-quality works for women’s voices.

The concert is at Christ Church Cathedral on Thursday, June 4th, at 7:30 p.m. Click here for more information.
